Standard psychometric tests are available for completion immediately after the transaction has been processed (approximately 15-20 minutes). Customised psychometric solutions are typically set-up within the same business day.

Our psychometric tests are web-based, therefore the candidate requires having a PC and internet connection (dial-up or broad band). The speed of the internet connection will not impact the candidate’s test results.

Data will remain available on our secure systems for a period of seven years. The data on our systems is always available through online reports.
We guarantee 99.5% monthly uptime. In fact our systems have been averaging 99.9% availability.
No. We have, in many instances, transferred content to our platform. We also have a broad range of popular solutions on a web-based platform that you may wish to use instead of the existing assessment tools.
For existing solution, set-up and services fees are not charged. Our fee structure is based upon usage. We track how many assessments have been pre-purchased by an account. For customised solutions, we charge a one-off set-up fee to develop the required tool on a web platform.
With a hosted solution, data between users of Psych Press and the servers is exchanged in as high as a 128-bit encryption, which is the standard used by financial institutions.
Certain psychometric tests published by Psych Press are available only to users who have appropriate training and credentials, and who adhere to the principals of proper use, including knowledge of assessments and their applications. Therefore, when restricted assessments are used, we require the buyer to complete a user qualification form by fax or email.
We guarantee to deliver a comprehensive report within 1 business day from assessment completion. In most cases we will have the report completed and delivered sooner.
An IT Consultant will be able to track the candidate’s progress in terms of whether the candidate has started the assessment but not actually completed or the candidate has not started the assessment at all. Clients who are set up with an automatic ordering system can track their candidates’ progress in real-time through their online system.

Yes, Psych Press maintains the strictest of confidences with regards to client information and candidate answers. Reports are released only to clients and are held in the strictest confidence as per Australian Psychological Society (APS) guidelines
Psych Press has its full obligation towards its clients; therefore, we do not provide any sort of results score or report to individual candidates. We forward the candidates’ report directly to the corresponding client. Nevertheless, we offer verbal feedback with our psychologists to assist you with understanding your test results. This feedback does not focus on the position you applied for but will deal with general findings.

Psych Press publishes and distributes a wide range of products geared towards the assessment needs of psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, social workers and other allied mental health professionals.
Orders may be placed by mail, fax, phone, email or by using our online shopping facility. Payment should accompany all orders and can be made by cheque, credit card or money order. Credit card facilities which are available through Psych Press include Bank Card, MasterCard and Visa. You may like to combine your order methods for added security, for example you could send your order by fax, mail or email and follow up with credit card details over the telephone. Please note however that if placing an order online your credit card details are required. Please see the information on security if you have any concerns.

When browsing the catalogue you will note that the product price list will contain an "Add to Shopping Basket" button. If you would like to purchase an item,check that you have entered the correct quantity and simply press this button. You will then be shown the contents and total value of your shopping basket. To return to shopping and browsing simply click on the back button at the top of your browser window. To place your order, click on "Proceed to checkout". You will now be able to choose your order method. If you choose Option 1 (Order Online - Credit Card payment) you will be asked to enter all your order details including credit card information (please see the "Security" page for further information).
You will notice the form requires you to state whether you are registered as a qualified user of Psych Press products. (Please disregard this if you are purchasing products that do not have a User Qualification level of "Psychologist" or "Registered HR Personnel". All others are considered non-restricted products.) If you are already a registered user, we will have a record of your qualification details and you do not need to download the User Qualification Form. If you are not registered, you will need to download, print, fill-in and fax back the Qualification form. Different products require different user qualifications - please check the product information on the website catalogue.
To proceed with your order click on "Process Order". You will be asked to confirm your order details. When you finally submit your order online you will receive a receipt number. Please note down this number. Your order details will be forwarded to Psych Press online.
If you choose to click on either of the fax back order options you will be asked to enter the appropriate details for your order. When you have completed the form click on "Generate Fax Back Form". Please check all details are correct and enter any missing information by hand. Then simply fax or mail to Psych Press with your payment details. Your order details will not be forwarded online.

Follow the instructions for online shopping. When you reach the shopping basket display you will have the option of generating a fax-back order form. Your order details will not be submitted online via the internet if you choose this option.

Confirmation of urgent orders
All orders which are made by fax or phone and confirmed in writing must be clearly marked as such. In order to eliminate the possibility of duplication, please mark the order as "CONFIRMATION ONLY".
Delivery time depends on the availability of products. Anticipation of long term needs, and notification to Psych Press of these needs will assist us in ensuring availability. The same applies for great multiples of products or very large orders. Whilst sometimes an order may include products which need to be placed on backorder we will always send the ordered products we have in stock immediately.

Whilst Psych Press does not supply goods on approval, all goods are sold with full return credits privileges. Returns should be made within 30 days of purchase.Credits are only offered on products which are returned in a saleable condition. For fast service, please include a copy of your invoice (or invoice number) and date of purchase. In order for us to better understand your needs; please include the reason for returning the goods. Products which are returned to Psych Press must be sent via a means which can be tracked to ensure that their receipt can be verified. We encourage returns to be insured prior to sending and be sent with sufficient packaging as packages not received or packages damaged in transit will be returned to the customer and charged at current rates. Please note that shipping & handling charges are still chargeable.
Shipping and Handling
Orders placed (within Australia, under 3Kg) will be subject to a shipping and handling charge of 10% of total order value, with minimum amount standing at $11.00, and maximum at $27.50 (both GST inclusive) for a standard delivery through Australia Post. For express deliveries and international charges, please see the table below or contact Psych Press.

There are various ways orders can be posted. All methods are able to be tracked if any mishaps occur. If you require your order urgently we recommend you select one of the express services. When an order is sent by TNT please ensure you supply a street address as your shipping address, as courier services will not deliver to a PO Box address.

If you have an ongoing need for scoring and report generation Psych Press offers you the opportunity to purchase fax back credits. This will enable you to buy at bulk and at a discounted rate. When your credits are running low, you will receive an email alerting you of the same therein allowing you to manage and re-order at your convenience.
