Q1 - How do I find a product?

A - You can find our products on our website. There is a search engine which is keyword sensitive that you can utilise in order to source a product.

A - While our website features a great majority of our product offerings, it is by no means a comprehensive listing of all the resources we can offer. If you cannot find a product please contact one of our consultants at info@psychpress.com.au or by calling (03) 9670-0590.

Q4 - Who can purchase materials psychological materials?

A - Psych Press publishes and distributes a wide range of products geared towards the assessment needs of psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, social workers and other allied mental health professionals.

Q5 - How do I order tests?

A - Orders may be placed by mail, fax, phone, email or by using our online shopping facility. Payment should accompany all orders and can be made by cheque, credit card or money order. Credit card facilities which are available through Psych Press include Bank Card, MasterCard and Visa. You may like to combine your order methods for added security, for example you could send your order by fax, mail or email and follow up with credit card details over the telephone. Please note however that if placing an order online your credit card details are required. Please see the information on security if you have any concerns.

Order Details

All orders should include:
a) customer name and shipping address,
b) the catalogue number,
c) product name,
d) quantity required (in multiples of that specified by Psych Press), and
e) product price. You will be asked for these details on any of our order forms.

Order Online

When browsing the catalogue you will note that the product price list will contain an "Add to Shopping Basket" button. If you would like to purchase an item, check that you have entered the correct quantity and simply press this button. You will then be shown the contents and total value of your shopping basket. To return to shopping and browsing simply click on the back button at the top of your browser window. To place your order, click on "Proceed to checkout". You will now be able to choose your order method. If you choose Option 1 (Order Online - Credit Card payment) you will be asked to enter all your order details including credit card information (please see the "Security" page for further information).

You will notice the form requires you to state whether you are registered as a qualified user of Psych Press products. (Please disregard this if you are purchasing products that do not have a User Qualification level of "Psychologist" or "Registered HR Personnel". All others are considered non-restricted products.) If you are already a registered user, we will have a record of your qualification details and you do not need to download the User Qualification Form. If you are not registered, you will need to download, print, fill-in and fax back the Qualification form. Different products require different user qualifications - please check the product information on the website catalogue.

To proceed with your order click on "Process Order". You will be asked to confirm your order details. When you finally submit your order online you will receive a receipt number. Please note down this number. Your order details will be forwarded to Psych Press online.

If you choose to click on either of the fax back order options you will be asked to enter the appropriate details for your order. When you have completed the form click on "Generate Fax Back Form". Please check all details are correct and enter any missing information by hand. Then simply fax or mail to Psych Press with your payment details. Your order details will not be forwarded online.

Order by fax or mail

Follow the instructions for online shopping. When you reach the shopping basket display you will have the option of generating a fax-back order form. Your order details will not be submitted online via the internet if you choose this option.

Please check the User Qualification level of the product you wish to purchase and ensure you download and print off the User Qualification Form if you are a new user. You may also download and print off this form below.

All orders which are made by fax or phone and confirmed in writing must be clearly marked as such. In order to eliminate the possibility of duplication, please mark the order as "CONFIRMATION ONLY".

Q6 - When will I receive my order?

A - Delivery time depends on the availability of products. Anticipation of long term needs, and notification to Psych Press of these needs will assist us in ensuring availability. The same applies for great multiples of products or very large orders. Whilst sometimes an order may include products which need to be placed on backorder we will always send the ordered products we have in stock immediately.

Q7 - How do I pay for my order?

Q8 - What is the return policy?

A - Whilst Psych Press does not supply goods on approval, all goods are sold with full return credits privileges. Returns should be made within 30 days of purchase. Credits are only offered on products which are returned in a saleable condition. For fast service, please include a copy of your invoice (or invoice number) and date of purchase. In order for us to better understand your needs; please include the reason for returning the goods. Products which are returned to Psych Press must be sent via a means which can be tracked to ensure that their receipt can be verified. We encourage returns to be insured prior to sending and be sent with sufficient packaging as packages not received or packages damaged in transit will be returned to the customer and charged at current rates. Please note that shipping & handling charges are still chargeable.

Q9 - What is your shipping and handling costs?

A - Shipping and Handling

Orders placed (within Australia, under 3Kg) will be subject to a shipping and handling charge of 10% of total order value, with minimum amount standing at $11.00, and maximum at $27.50 (both GST inclusive) for a standard delivery through Australia Post. For express deliveries and international charges, please see the table below or contact Psych Press.

Postage and Handling Rates

There are various ways orders can be posted. All methods are able to be tracked if any mishaps occur. If you require your order urgently we recommend you select one of the express services. When an order is sent by TNT please ensure you supply a street address as your shipping address, as courier services will not deliver to a PO Box address.

Q13 - What are FAX back credits?

A - If you have an ongoing need for scoring and report generation Psych Press offers you the opportunity to purchase fax back credits. This will enable you to buy at bulk and at a discounted rate. When your credits are running low, you will receive an email alerting you of the same therein allowing you to manage and re-order at your convenience.
